Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery of the abdomen in which fat and skin are removed and muscles are sometimes tightened, usually for cosmetic purposes.

Autologous Fat Grafting

A procedure in which an individual's own body fat is used to plump up sunken or emaciated areas of the face or to add volume where desired.

Cosmetic surgery to remove unwanted skin and fat from the upper arm.

Breast Reduction

Also known as reduction mammaplasty, is a procedure to remove excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size in proportion with your body and to alleviate the discomfort associated with overly large breasts.

Breast Reconstruction after Full or Partial Mastectomy

After a full or partial mastectomy with implants and autologous tissue, many women who have a mastectomy—surgery to remove an entire breast to treat or prevent breast cancer—have the option of having the shape of the removed breast rebuilt. Women who choose to have their breasts rebuilt have several options for how it can be done. They can be rebuilt using autologous tissue (that is, tissue from elsewhere in the body).  Sometimes both implants and autologous tissue are used to rebuild the breast.

Browlift, also known as a forehead lift:

  • Reduces the wrinkle lines that develop horizontally across the forehead, as well as those that occur on the bridge of the nose, between the eyes
  • Improves frown lines, the vertical creases that develop between the eyebrows
  • Raises sagging brows that are hooding the upper eyelids
  • Places the eyebrows in an alert and youthful position

Carpal Tunnel Surgery

Open and Endoscopic  Carpal tunnel syndrome is numbness, tingling, weakness, and other problems in your hand because of pressure on the median nerve in your wrist. The median nerve and several tendons run from your forearm to your hand through a small space in your wrist called the carpal tunnel camera.gif. The median nerve controls movement and feeling camera.gif in your thumb and first three fingers (not your little finger). Endoscopic surgery uses a thin tube with a camera attached (endoscope).  The endoscope is guided through a small incision in the wrist (single-portal technique) or at the wrist and palm (two-portal technique). The endoscope lets the doctor see structures in the wrist, such as the transverse carpal ligament, without opening the entire area with a large incision.

Chin Implants

Chin implants are designed to augment, reconstruct, or rejuvenate your facial contours. They are available in a wide range of sizes and styles and restore contour and/or proportion to your face. Chin implants can be used to augment your chin and jaw, to provide the sculpted cheekbones that you desire, or to supplement the tear trough area. Consider Facial Implants if you...

  • have a weak, receding chin and wish to make it more projecting and improve your jawline
  • wish to enhance the definition and fullness of your cheeks
  • wish to restore contour and proportion to your facial structures made deficient by aging
  • wish to correct facial asymmetry or deformities resulting from injury or congenital conditions

Gynecomastia surgery reduces breast size in men, flattening and enhancing the chest contours.

  • Relaxation of the skin of the face causing sagging
  • Deepening of the fold lines between the nose and corner of the mouth
  • Fat that has fallen or has disappeared
  • Jowls
  • Loose skin and excess fat of the neck that can appear as a double chin or "turkey neck"

Cosmetic surgery performed to remove unwanted deposits of fat from under the skin. Liposuction can treat:

  • Thighs
  • Hips and buttocks
  • Abdomen and waist
  • Upper arms
  • Back
  • Inner knee
  • Chest area
  • Cheeks, chin and neck
  • Calves and ankles

Plastic surgery in which the breasts are lifted or reshaped. A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. A breast lift can rejuvenate your figure with a breast profile that is more youthful and uplifted. A woman's breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes and loss of skin elasticity can result from:

  • Pregnancy
  • Breastfeeding
  • Weight fluctuations
  • Aging
  • Gravity
  • Heredity

Nipple Reconstruction

Nipple and areola reconstructions are usually the final phase of breast reconstruction.  This is a separate surgery done to make the reconstructed breast look more like the original breast. It can be done as an outpatient procedure.

The surgical repair, restoration, or alteration of the auricle of the ear.  Otoplasty can correct a defect in the ear structure that is present at birth that becomes apparent with development or it can treat misshapen ears caused by injury.  Ear surgery creates a more natural shape, while bringing balance and proportion to the ears and face. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance and self-esteem.

Sometimes referred to as "nose reshaping" by patients, enhances facial harmony and the proportions of your nose. It can also correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the nose.
Breast Augmentation Involves using breast implants or fat transfer to increase the size of your breasts. This procedure can also restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy, achieve a more rounded breast shape or improve natural breast size asymmetry.

A surgical procedure done on the nose and the nasal septum, the wall within the nose separating the left and right sides.  Nose surgery is done for either cosmetic or functional reasons. Septorhinoplasty is performed for both reasons – to reshape the nose so it is cosmetically more pleasing and in balance with the rest of the face and for functional purposes to improve breathing by correcting a septum that became deviated through injury, trauma, disease or sometimes a previous surgery.

Thigh Lift

A cosmetic procedure used to tighten sagging muscles and remove excess skin in the thigh.

Trigger Finger Release

Trigger finger, also known as stenosing tenosynovitis, occurs when one of the tendons responsible for bending a finger or the thumb develops a thickening, known as a nodule, and inflammation in the tendon sheath. The thickened tendon and inflamed sheath can prevent smooth gliding during motion, resulting in a popping or catching sensation while attempting to extend the finger from the palm.

Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty

The removal of excess fat and tightening of the skin, which can drastically minimize the appearance of baggy and puffy eyelids. Eyelid surgery can treat:

  • Loose or sagging skin that creates folds or disturbs the natural contour of the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision
  • Fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the eyelids
  • Bags under the eyes
  • Drooping lower eyelids that reveal white below the iris
  • Excess skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid
